{"id":17769,"date":"2026-05-06T09:14:14","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T09:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/17769\/"},"modified":"2026-05-06T09:14:14","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T09:14:14","slug":"barcelona-set-for-new-e10m-shirt-sponsorship-deal-linked-to-dubai-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/17769\/","title":{"rendered":"Barcelona set for new \u20ac10m shirt sponsorship deal linked to Dubai project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Barcelona are continuing to expand their commercial ambitions beyond football, with the club now moving closer to securing a new sponsorship agreement that could directly affect the appearance of the first-team shirt from next season.<\/p>\n<p>As per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundodeportivo.com\/futbol\/fc-barcelona\/20260506\/1004179429\/proyecto-inmobiliario-dubai-cerca-cerrarse.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Mundo Deportivo<\/a>, the Catalan giants are preparing to finalise a partnership with Ohana Development, a company linked to Barcelona\u2019s growing business interests in Dubai.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If approved, the agreement would see the company\u2019s logo appear on the lower back section of Barcelona\u2019s shirt in domestic competitions, replacing the current space occupied by UNHCR branding.<\/p>\n<p>The deal is expected to generate around \u20ac10 million annually for the club, providing another important financial boost as Barcelona continue searching for new commercial revenue streams to stabilise their economic situation.<\/p>\n<p>However, the agreement is not yet fully completed.<\/p>\n<p>Why is that?<\/p>\n<p>Because the sponsorship would directly alter part of the official shirt branding, the operation requires approval from the club\u2019s General Assembly of Delegates.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Barcelona board plans to present the proposal during the next assembly meeting before officially activating the partnership for the upcoming financial year.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/villarreal-cf-v-fc-barcelona-laliga-ea-sports-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Joan Laporta, President of FC Barcelona\" class=\"wp-image-197042\"  \/>Barcelona could have a new shirt sponsor.
