The owner of Panathinaikos who remains banned for one more EuroLeague game hopes that this will change in order to attend Game 5 in Valencia<\/p>\n

Dimitris Giannakopoulos was banned for three games after the incidents happened in Game 2 of the EuroLeague playoffs series between Valencia<\/a> and Panathinaikos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With one game left to decide the series, Panathinaikos<\/a>\u2018 owner hopes this can change.<\/p>\n

As he wrote on Instagram: \u201cI hope that Valencia<\/a> will now file a request that I have the possibility to watch Game 5, which will decide whether we will be the 4th team of the Final Four in Athens. I also would like to believe that EuroLeague management would accept. I\u2019m sure all basketball stakeholders would unanimously agree\u201d.<\/p>\n

Considering what happened in Game 2<\/a>\u00a0and the involvement of the Spanish police in the case<\/a>, it seems highly unlikely for Valencia to change its stance towards Giannakopoulos.<\/p>\n
