It’s a match that is likely to be highly charged and one that could see the blaugranes crowned LaLiga champions, which would be the first time ever against their old rivals. Here are 10 things to help you get ready for the big game.

1. El Clásico back at the Spotify Camp Nou

Barça and Real Madrid are set to face each other on a very special occasion, as the Clásico is back at the Spotify Camp Nou after a gap of 1,148 days. The last two home Clásicos took place on Montjuïc, with the last one played at the blaugrana home on 19 March 2023.

2. Two out of three

Barça have won two out of the last three home Clásicos in LaLiga, with just one defeat. That’s double the wins across the previous seven games in the competition as the home side (1W, 3D, 3L), with matches against Real Madrid proving more problematic at home than away.

3. There’s always a winner

Matches between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are known for one side winning in 90 minutes lately. None of the last 12 matches between the blaugranes and the all-whites have ended in a draw. It’s the longest run this century, as you have to go to back 1977 to 1986 (18 straight matches without a draw) for the previous similar run.

4. Flick can add to his record

The Clásico this weekend can see Hansi Flick make more history. The German coach can become the second coach to win his first two home Clásicos. He only has Pep Guardiola ahead, who achieved it in 2010 (having won the first three).

5. The best streak under Flick

Should the blaugranes beat Real Madrid, they will extend the winning streak in the league to 11. That will be the best record under Hansi Flick, moving closer to Pep Guardiola (winning streaks of 16 and 11), Frank Rijkaard (14), Luis Enrique (12) and Tito Vilanova (11).

6. Attacking power

FC Barcelona have been showing their offensive prowess all season. The blaugranes have now scored in 54 games in a row in LaLiga, the longest current run of any side in the five major European leagues.

7. Lewandowski in form

Robert Lewandowski is showing his acumen for goals in recent games. The Pole has a goal involvement in the last three matches — two goals and one assist — and could be involved in four or more goals for the eighth time in the competition since March 2025, when he scored five goals in four games.

8. First Clásico for Bernal?

The Clásico may be a very special game for Marc Bernal. The FC Barcelona number 22 returned in Pamplona after injury and is the only player in the first team squad yet to play in a Clásico. He was on the bench for the first two this season, but didn’t get on the pitch. He missed the matches last season due to injury.

9. Real Madrid away form up and down

The all-whites have lost two of their last five away matches, as many as in their 17 away games before that. They come to Spotify Camp Nou where Barça are 17 from 17 in LaLiga.

10. Clásico debut for Arbeloa

Álvaro Arbeloa will be on the bench for the first time as Real Madrid coach. As a player, he was involved in 16 Clásicos, win six wins, five draws and five losses to the blaugranes. He also faced Barça twice as a Liverpool FC player and once as a Deportivo de La Coruña player.

Iniesta i Arbeloa, en un duel corresponent a la temporada 2012/13.

[5
92,483
0":"post-20482","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-barcelona","8":"tag-barcelona","9":"tag-text
["GET
