Officials said deputies were conducting a sweep of the park grounds as a precaution.<\/p>\n<p>Employees who were inside the park were evacuated during the investigation. Authorities also shut down the main entrance on Magic Mountain Parkway as well as the employee entrance near Sky View Lane and Feedmill Road during the response.<\/p>\n<p>The theme park had not yet opened to the public at the time of the call. The park remained closed well past its scheduled opening time Monday morning as deputies continued their investigation and search of the property.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities have not said whether any suspicious items were discovered, and no injuries have been reported.<\/p>\n<p>It was immediately not clear on who reported the alleged threat. Officials said the leads were not credible and it was only one cal. <\/p>\n<p>Aerial footage from the scene showed multiple sheriff\u2019s vehicles positioned near the entrance while deputies searched the property.<\/p>\n<p>Video from local television helicopters also appeared to show an armored sheriff\u2019s vehicle and a fire engine on scene as law enforcement swept the amusement park grounds.<\/p>\n<p>It was not immediately clear who reported the alleged threat. Officials said the leads were not credible and that there was only one call.<\/p>\n<p>Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, the largest regional amusement park operator in North America, welcomed more than 50 million guests in 2024 across its portfolio.
