\n\t Banco Santander has launched Santander X Global Challenge | The Quantum AI Leap<\/a>, a new global challenge promoted together with IBM, Bluzec and Oxentia Foundation, aimed at startups and scaleups from 10 countries (Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, the United States, Spain, Mexico, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Uruguay) developing innovative solutions based on quantum computing and artificial intelligence. \n<\/p>\n


\n\t The initiative seeks to identify disruptive projects that leverage the potential of these technologies to transform key industries and generate new opportunities in areas such as finance, energy, healthcare, logistics and cybersecurity, through advanced computing, complex systems optimization and enhanced digital security. \n<\/p>\n


\n\t Interested startups and scaleups may submit solutions in different application areas: \n<\/p>\n


\n\t Technologies that enable the development and scaling of quantum systems, including advanced hardware as well as the use of AI to improve performance and stability.
\n\t Solutions combining quantum computing and AI to solve real-world problems, focused on the development of software, algorithms and applications with short- and medium-term impact.
\n\t Technologies that protect digital systems against the risks posed by future quantum computing from a cryptographic standpoint, focusing on ensuring long-term security, privacy and trust. <\/p>\n


\n\t Interested companies may submit their applications until June 30 through the Santander X platform. \n<\/p>\n


\n\t According to Jaime G\u00f3mez, Global Director of the Quantum Threat Program at Banco Santander, \u201cquantum computing is getting closer to generating a real impact on society and, combined with AI, opens up new opportunities to solve complex challenges across multiple industries. \n\t Bluzec explained that \u201cthe evolution of AI confirms that emerging technologies can become true drivers of transformation in a very short time. Quantum computing represents the next major leap, with the potential to generate capabilities that today are still not fully foreseeable. The integration of both technologies will mark a new era of technological innovation. At Bluzec, we support startups and large corporations throughout this process, connecting technology with markets and accelerating adoption through growth, investment and strategic collaboration.\u201d \n<\/p>\n


\n\t An expert jury will select six winning projects, which will receive a total of \u20ac120,000 in prizes: \u20ac30,000 for the three winning startups (\u20ac10,000 each) and \u20ac90,000 for the three best scaleups (\u20ac30,000 each). Winners will also gain access to Santander X 100, the exclusive global community featuring the most outstanding Santander X companies, and will have the opportunity to connect with Fintech Station, the bank\u2019s Open Innovation area. \n<\/p>\n


\n\t In addition, participants will be able to continue developing their projects with IBM\u2019s support, gaining access to artificial intelligence sessions, quantum innovation teams and the opportunity to present their projects to IBM Ventures and its investor community. \n<\/p>\n


\n\t Bluzec will also provide up to \u20ac10,000 in specialized services, including expert mentoring, quantum training delivered by international specialists, and access to a collaboration and investment network. \n<\/p>\n
