Five teams are moving on to the final stage of the international competition for Liceu Mar, a new cultural venue planned at Barcelona<\/a>\u2019s waterfront.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Promoted by the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Port of Barcelona, the project envisions a second home for the historic opera institution while reconnecting the city with the waterfront at Moll d\u2019Espanya.<\/p>\n

Beyond a new performance space, the initiative aims to reshape the edge of Port Vell, turning the port into a new cultural meeting point between the city and the sea.<\/p>\n
