At the sector level (Banking and Financial Services), BBVA was once again recognized as the best bank in Spain and ranked second worldwide, out of 140 financial institutions analyzed.<\/p>\n

This distinction comes on top of several other recent awards, including Global Finance naming BBVA ‘World\u2019s Best Corporate Bank 2025’<\/a>. The bank also recently scooped Top Employer<\/a> certification as an employer brand and ‘The Banker\u2019s Technology Award’ <\/a>for best use of technology worldwide, among other notable accolades.<\/p>\n How the ranking is compiled<\/p>\n The world\u2019s 1,000 best companies are selected on the basis of an independent methodology developed by ‘Time’ magazine and consultancy firm Statista, structured around three pillars, each with a weighting of 33 percent:<\/p>\n Employee satisfaction: Based on anonymous surveys of around 200,000 people across more than 50 countries, covering six dimensions: corporate image, working environment, working conditions, salary, equality, and workplace.
\nRevenue growth: Based on Statista\u2019s financial data for the 2022\u20132024 period, including absolute growth and relative growth (CAGR). Only companies with revenues above $100 million and positive growth over the three years are considered.
