Cuevas, on the bicycle, was hit by the front passenger side of the Camry, which left the scene. Its driver did not notify police or call for an ambulance, the release said. Crystal Lopez and another woman, Rachel Silguero, met with the juvenile and returned to the scene, Silguero told Lopez and the juvenile to leave, then lied to deputies about her involvement. Lopez and the juvenile went to her home and put the Camry in the garage. It was later seized by deputies with a search warrant.
