He started out as a La Masia youth player before joining the Real Madrid youth program.<\/p>\n<p>But last summer, he joined Osasuna in a \u20ac5 million deal. And it is his complicated history that may play a big role in dictating his future.<\/p>\n<p>Real Madrid expected to block Barcelona move<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/as.com\/futbol\/primera\/el-real-madrid-no-permitira-a-victor-munoz-fichar-por-el-barcelona-f202604-n\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Diario AS<\/a>, Real Madrid are aware of Barcelona\u2019s interest in Victor Munoz and are not expected to allow the winger to join the Catalans.<\/p>\n<p>This is not merely a whim. Real Madrid have secured an agreement that will grant them the right to make sure Munoz doesn\u2019t return to Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/spain-v-egypt-international-friendly-7-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Victor Munoz, Spanish sensation\" class=\"wp-image-196789\"  \/>All eyes on Victor Munoz\u2019s future. (Photo by Alex Caparros\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p>When the winger initially joined Osasuna from RM Castilla, Real Madrid had secured various clauses, including a buyback clause that would allow them to sign the player back for anywhere between \u20ac8-10 million.<\/p>\n<p>Real Madrid have also secured a right to first refusal option, effectively meaning that any decision over Munoz\u2019s future will be made by the club, rather than the player himself. <\/p>\n<p>Not to mention, Los Blancos also hold 50% rights of the player, meaning half the transfer fee will go to the Madrid coffers. <\/p>\n<p>Munoz\u2019s current release clause is valued at around \u20ac40 million and clubs from Premier League and Serie A have already cited their intention to sign the Spanish international.<\/p>\n<p>The coming summer, therefore, could be an important one for Munoz.
