However, the fervour around Eyong disappeared after a lacklustre second half, where he scored only one goal.<\/p>\n<p>Eyong still eyeing Barcelona move<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite finishing the season with just seven goals, Eyong has not lost hope and dreams of a move to Barcelona. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"752\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/fc-barcelona-v-levante-ud-laliga-ea-sports-1024x752.jpg\" alt=\"Etta Eyong, Levante striker\" class=\"wp-image-200619\"  \/>Eyong is desperate to join Barcelona. (Photo by Pedro Salado\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundodeportivo.com\/futbol\/fc-barcelona\/20260525\/1004187684\/etta-eyong-rechaza-oferta-cska-moscu-aun-suena-barca.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Mundo Deportivo<\/a>, the Cameroonian forward has already rejected an offer from CSKA Moscow, who were willing to offer him a salary of \u20ac6 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It appears the striker is holding out for a move to Barcelona, knowing that the club are keen on signing a new striker following the <a href=\"https:\/\/barcauniversal.com\/official-robert-lewandowski-announces-barcelona-exit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">departure of Robert Lewandowski<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eyong does have other options as Tottenham, Everton and Stuttgart are also interested. (Photo by Alex Caparros\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But at a time when Lewandowski is leaving, the 22-year-old is more than happy to act as a secondary option for Hansi Flick in the number nine position.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is young and has room for growth.
