FOR KICKS: Fashion\u2019s love affair with sports just keeps growing stronger, with Loewe forging a four-year partnership to dress Spain\u2019s national soccer teams beyond the pitch, WWD has learned.<\/p>\n

Under creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Loewe<\/a> plans to provide a travel wardrobe for male and female players during all upcoming tournaments. These would include the 2026 FIFA Men\u2019s World Cup in North America and the FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup<\/a> in Brazil in 2027 through to the 2030 World Cup in Spain, Portugal and Morocco.<\/p>\n

Kicking off the partnership, the Spanish men\u2019s national team will be provided complete off-pitch wardrobes including tailoring, casualwear, shoes and leather goods.<\/p>\n

The tailored suit boasts a discreet Loewe Anagram embroidered inside the sleeve, visible only in movement, while polo shirts, jackets and trousers were designed for comfort and ease.<\/p>\n

Accessories include XL Amazona 180 leather bags and large Puzzle bags.<\/p>\n

\u201cCollaborating with a national football team is never just about clothes: It is about identity, carried collectively,\u201d Loewe said in a statement. \u201cWith the Spanish selection, Loewe stands alongside a generation driven by intuition, optimism and boldness, reflecting the same spirit of craft and creativity that defines the house.\u201d<\/p>\n

Players including Pedri, Unai Sim\u00f3n, Rodri, and Nico Williams were photographed by Bruno Staub wearing their new Loewe wardrobe on the team\u2019s training grounds in Las Rozas, outside Madrid.<\/p>\n

The partnership falls during a big year for the Spanish luxury house, which is marking its 180th anniversary.<\/p>\n
