{"id":30503,"date":"2026-05-27T14:29:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T14:29:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/30503\/"},"modified":"2026-05-27T14:29:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T14:29:07","slug":"teatro-dellopera-di-roma-to-showcase-the-barber-of-seville-in-operacamion-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/30503\/","title":{"rendered":"Teatro dell&#8217;Opera di Roma to Showcase &#8216;The Barber of Seville&#8217; in &#8216;OperaCamion&#8217; Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>              (Photo Credit: Fabrizio-Sansoni)<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/operawire.com\/?s=teatro+dell%27opera+di+roma\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Teatro dell\u2019Opera di Roma<\/a> is set to launch a new edition of \u201cOperaCamion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The traveling theater project, set to launch from May 31 to June 17, 2026, will showcase Rossini\u2019s \u201cThe Barber of Seville\u201d free of charge across 10 outdoor locations in Rome and its metropolitan area.<\/p>\n<p>The production, directed by Manu Lalli, features a musical adaptation is by Tommaso Chieco and Marco Giustini, with sets by Daniele Leone and mime choreography by Chiara Casalbuoni. The Rome Opera House Orchestra will be conducted by Alessandro Poleggi.<\/p>\n<p>The cast features Irene Zas Martinez as Rosina, Diego Savini as Figaro, Francesco Tuppo as the Count of Almaviva, Pierpaolo Martella as Don Bartolo, and Dayu Xu as Don Basilio, alongside Donata Franceschino, Letizia Giannoccaro, Stefano Dattrino, and Giacomo Peddis.<\/p>\n<p>The tour opens on May 31 at the Opera House\u2019s warehouses in Quarticciolo and visits neighborhoods including Massimina, Ostia, Palmarola, and Villaggio Prenestino, with additional stops in Bracciano on June 9 and Valmontone on June 17.
