{"id":31732,"date":"2026-05-29T23:14:18","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T23:14:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/31732\/"},"modified":"2026-05-29T23:14:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-29T23:14:18","slug":"one-dead-another-injured-in-newhall-ranch-head-on-crash-in-valencia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/31732\/","title":{"rendered":"One Dead, Another Injured In Newhall Ranch Head-On Crash In Valencia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\tOne person is dead and another is injured following a crash on Newhall Ranch Road in Valencia Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Around 2:45 p.m. Friday, first responders received reports of a two-vehicle head-on crash on Newhall Ranch Road and Rye Canyon Road in Valencia, said Justin Yang, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.<\/p>\n<p>One person was pronounced dead on arrival, according to Yang.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-596224\" class=\"wp-image-596224 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/1780094411.jpeg\" alt=\"052926 Fatal crash\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1877\"  \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-596224\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Steven Barrera | KHTS<\/p>\n<p>A second person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the crash remains under investigation by deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff\u2019s Station.<\/p>\n<p>The identity of the person who died has not been released pending the next of kin.<\/p>\n<p>Ed.
