FC Barcelona have announced that teenage midfield prodigy Ignaci Bassas has signed his first professional contract with the club to continue his development at La Masia.<\/p>\n
Just 16 years old, the interior midfielder is currently a part of the Catalans\u2019 Cadete A setup and has signed a new deal with the club.<\/p>\n

Described as a classical La Masia midfielder, Bassas is a creative player who shines with his technical ability and vision on the pitch.<\/p>\n
Currently in his ninth year with the Barcelona youth academy, he is primarily an interior midfielder. But the teenage prodigy is capable of operating in a deep-lying role in the centre of the park as well.<\/p>\n
