Former Barcelona star Thierry Henry<\/a> has given his verdict on Anthony Gordon\u2019s move to the Camp Nou and thinks he will be a good addition to the squad.<\/a><\/p>\n

Gordon has arrived in a transfer worth 80 million euros and Henry thinks his versatility will be a big boost for Hansi Flick\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do think that Anthony Gordon is going to have a great impact in a team that plays outstanding football. They\u2019re going to leave you 1v1, he can stretch a team because he runs in behind, and he has an eye for a goal. He can play on the left, the right and down the middle, as he has for Newcastle,\u201d he told Betway.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a dream come true for him, and he worked it out before the World Cup so he can focus on doing what he needs to do this summer.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a great move for Barcelona as well. They got their business done early because during the World Cup it isn\u2019t easy to talk to players. Hopefully for him, he\u2019s going to have a massive impact and it looks like everything should work out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Henry was also impressed by Gordon\u2019s language skills after seeing the winger speak Spanish during his presentation at Barca.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, but also that\u2019s what you\u2019re supposed to do \u2013 arrive somewhere and adapt. It\u2019s a sign that he already has an understanding of where he is,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always thought that when you arrive somewhere, you have to make the effort to speak the language for the press, and for the fans just to understand you. When I saw it I was like, \u2018wow, well done mate.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
