However, could the weather conditions play a factor in how things shape out? Here is the weather forecast for race Sunday.

It has been another weekend where the Mercedes team have proven to be the most dominant heading through the weekend. However, this time it is George Russell leading the field. The six-time race winner, having led much of the running throughout the weekend, again stormed to pole position with a lap time of 1:14.679, with team-mate and championship leader Kimi Antonelli only third fastest after qualifying.Lewis Hamilton, in the Scuderia Ferrari, continued to build on his recently found form, qualifying in second place after consecutive podium finishes. Lando Norris was able to clock a time quick enough for fourth place on the grid, with Max Verstappen, who had a forgettable weekend last time out in Monaco, and team-mate Isack Hadjar locking out the third row. Oscar Piastri and Liam Lawson start a further row back, with their lap times quick enough for seventh and eighth respectively. Nico Hulkenberg marked Audi’s maiden Q3 appearance with a ninth-place starting spot, ahead of Charles Leclerc, who endured another forgettable session after crashing his Scuderia Ferrari at Turn 4 of the Catalunya race circuit.Barcelona GP Sunday Weather Forecast

While the weekend has largely been warm, with temperatures reaching nearly 32°C through the first two competitive sessions, similar conditions can be expected on race Sunday.
