Contamos: Fin de la discriminaci\u00f3n de las mujeres en la investigaci\u00f3n de la salud&#8217; (&#8216;We Are. We Count: Ending Discrimination Against Women in Health Research&#8217;). <\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\" style=\"\">&#8220;This will boost research, diagnosis and treatment in areas that affect the lives of thousands of women in our country, who have not received the necessary attention,&#8221; S\u00e1nchez said.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"v-a-lnk\" href=\"https:\/\/www.surinenglish.com\/andalucia\/andalucia-launches-virtual-health-card-transform-patient-20260323194145-nt.html#vtm_modulosEngag=noticiasrelacionadas-cmp-uno:surinenglish:noticia:1\" title=\"Andaluc\u00eda launches virtual health card to transform patient care\" data-voc-vtm-id=\"in-text-traffic\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/tarjetaep (2)-kHXH--366x256@Diario Sur.jpg\" class=\"v-a-img\" width=\"258\" height=\"180\" alt=\"Andaluc\u00eda launches virtual health card to transform patient care\"\/><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\" style=\"\">The plan is divided into three main lines of action: a specific mission on women&#8217;s health through the centre for technological development and innovation that will support companies and research centres on R&amp;D projects; a new line of funding for the Carlos III health institute; and measures to improve the critical mass of research in these areas, with specific predoctoral contracts for projects on this topic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\" style=\"\">Conditions like endometriosis reflect the discrimination women face in healthcare. As S\u00e1nchez explained, it&#8217;s a disease that affects one in seven women and takes a decade to diagnose. &#8220;This cannot be allowed in Spain today,&#8221; the prime minister said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\" style=\"\">&#8220;If a disease affected one in seven men, causing chronic pain, difficulty working, and fertility problems, would we accept a decade-long delay in diagnosis? The answer is obvious: certainly not.
