These publications present the company\u2019s core environmental, social and governance indicators.\u00a0They also complement Telef\u00f3nica\u2019s Management and Sustainability (ESG) Report 2025, which is prepared\u00a0in accordance with\u00a0the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), and Spanish Law 11\/2018 on non-financial information and diversity.<\/p>\n

Since 2021, Telef\u00f3nica has carried out a double materiality analysis,\u00a0identifying\u00a0the impacts, risks, and opportunities (IROs) that shape its long-term sustainability roadmap.<\/p>\n
In 2025, Telef\u00f3nica continued to align its sustainability reporting with the\u00a0Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive\u00a0and the\u00a0European Sustainability Reporting Standards, reinforcing comparability,\u00a0transparency\u00a0and accountability across ESG disclosures.<\/p>\n

Telef\u00f3nica\u00a0remains\u00a0committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2040, with targets\u00a0validated\u00a0by the SBTi initiative.<\/p>\n
By the end of 2025:\u00a0<\/p>\n
Telef\u00f3nica had reduced total Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 49% versus 2015.Scope 1 and 2\u00a0market-based emissions\u00a0stood at 129,431.93\u00a0tCO\u2082e, while Scope 3 emissions stood at 2,800,109.42\u00a0tCO\u2082e. Telef\u00f3nica reported\u00a0zero material data breaches, zero customers affected by material data breaches and 0% personal data compromised.Telef\u00f3nica maintained its sector leadership in digital rights, holding 1\u02e2\u1d57\u00a0position in the\u00a0Ranking Digital Rights index\u00a0for the last three editions.\u00a0In\u00a0supply chain management, Telef\u00f3nica awarded contracts to 6,973 suppliers in 2025 and carried out 17,219 supplier audits covering labour, occupational health and safety, environmental, human rights, conflict\u00a0minerals, security and data protection, and supply-chain management criteria.\u00a0Telef\u00f3nica trained 73,957 employees in its\u00a0Responsible Business Principles\u00a0in 2025.\u00a0On responsible AI, Telef\u00f3nica added an Artificial Intelligence category to its ESG Academy and describes a governance model including\u00a0a Responsible AI Office, Responsible AI\u00a0Champions\u00a0and an Artificial Intelligence Group of Experts.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
