Spain and Saudi Arabia have both taken the pitch for their respective first matches of the group stage, with both sides surprisingly meeting the same fate. Now, the Group H competitors are set to meet at 12 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 21 for their next fixture. This match will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, at Atlanta Stadium (Mercedes-Benz Stadium).

Here are the opening betting odds and lines on DraftKings Sportsbook for Spain vs. Saudi Arabia in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Opening odds for Spain vs. Saudi Arabia on DraftKings Sportsbook

Per DraftKings Sportsbook, Spain opens as a heavy favorite to win Sunday’s match. La Roja have -1000 odds on the Moneyline, which is already a dip from the -1200 odds they had to beat Cabo Verde in their opener on Monday. That match ended in a shocking 0-0 draw, while Saudi Arabia’s opener against Uruguay ended at 1-1. The odds of Spain and Saudi Arabia finishing in a draw this time around are sitting at +950. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Moneyline odds have been pegged at +2500.

As of the time of this article’s publishing, 90% of bets on an outright winner are on Spain.

Spain’s draw against Cabo Verde was one of the most surprising results in modern World Cup history, considering they spent the past 14 months ranked either No. 1 or No. 2 on the planet. Cabo Verde, on the other hand, entered the action ranked No. 67. The smallest nation ever to qualify for the World Cup – both by land area and population – managed to blank Spain. Still, La Roja recorded 74% possession and posted a 92% pass accuracy mark. Ferran Torres, Pedri and Aymeric Laporte all came up short in their scoring chances, plus teenage phenom Lamine Yamal was unable to score after substituting in off the bench in 71′. Spain finished the afternoon with 2.1 expected goals thanks to their seven shots on goal and two big chances.

Saudi Arabia is in a similar position to Cabo Verde, since the Green Falcons started the Group Stage ranked No. 61 in the world. Despite that, they led for a good chunk of Monday’s showdown with then-No. 16 Uruguay. Abdulelah Al-Amri accounted for two of Saudi Arabia’s three shots on goal, putting one away at 41′. The Green Falcons held that 1-0 advantage until 80′, when Maxi Araújo finally scored on Uruguay’s seventh shot on target. Mohammed Al-Owais finished the match with nine saves, fresh off his five-save clean sheet against Senegal in Saudi Arabia’s final friendly. Uruguay fell short of their 1.72 expected goals, but Saudi Arabia outproduced their 0.66 expected goals.

Bettors looking to get in on some alternative markets instead of traditional Moneylines have options.

Spain enters with +100 odds to cover the -2.5 spread, while the Saudis hold -125 odds to cover the line of +2.5. Additionally, the over on 3.5 total goals is set at +120 odds, with the under priced at -150 value.

More World Cup Coverage

For additional World Cup coverage from DraftKings Network, check out the World Cup landing page:

Take a look at the opening odds and betting lines for the FIFA World Cup fixture between Spain…

[2
530,17
post-41575","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-spain","tag-rail","tag-spain
["GET
