He reports to Deniz Sasmaz Oflaz, VP of local originals for Spain, Italy and Turkey at HBO Max.<\/p>\n Farr\u00e9 comes from Movistar Plus+ where he oversaw film content after joining the Telefonica unit in 2023. Previously, he worked for Warner Bros. Discovery where he helped with the launch of TNT and HBO Max in Spain.<\/p>\n \u201cGuillermo brings a rare combination of creative instinct and strategic discipline, with a proven ability to champion outstanding local stories,\u201d said Sarah Aubrey, head of HBO Max originals. \u201cHis appointment marks the next stage for our Spanish originals team, as we build on a strong foundation and continue to evolve our slate with a clear and focused vision.
