{"id":42990,"date":"2026-06-19T09:45:34","date_gmt":"2026-06-19T09:45:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/42990\/"},"modified":"2026-06-19T09:45:34","modified_gmt":"2026-06-19T09:45:34","slug":"lewis-hamilton-sends-defiant-message-to-critics-after-dominant-f1-barcelona-gp-win","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/42990\/","title":{"rendered":"Lewis Hamilton sends defiant message to critics after dominant F1 Barcelona GP win"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lewis Hamilton has sent a defiant message to his critics following his dominant win at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsportweek.com\/series\/single-seater\/formula-1\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Formula 1<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/racing\/2026\/barcelona-catalunya\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hamilton ended a year-long victory drought in Barcelona last weekend, taking an emotional first Grand Prix win for Ferrari.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The magnitude of the victory could be felt in Parc Ferme, the seven-time world champion finally inside the ranks of drivers that won for the Scuderia. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His mechanics and the rest of the team could not hide their joy at seeing their star signing take an iconic first win.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asked if he sees this victory as special Hamilton recalled the \u201cjourneys\u201d behind each of his 106 wins. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThey\u2019re all special in their own way,\u201d he said to media, including Motorsport Week. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThere are different journeys to each of them. The one in Silverstone in 2024 was in its own way a monumental moment for me, because it\u2019s a moment where I never thought maybe that I\u2019d ever get to win again.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd then after a year like last year, there were definitely moments that I was like, \u2018Sheesh, maybe it is true that when you get to a certain point, you lose it.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBut I\u2019ve proven that you don\u2019t.
