If you visited Lamine Yamal\u2019s Instagram page<\/a> in the past few days, you\u2019ll notice a new profile photo featuring LeBron James of the NBA\u2019s Los Angeles Lakers. It\u2019s not just a nod to an inspirational athlete for Yamal; there is significance in the moment of what the picture shows.<\/p>\n

The photo depicts James, then with the Cleveland Cavaliers, holding both the Larry O’Brien NBA championship trophy and the NBA Finals MVP trophy. That playoff series marked the first time an NBA team had overcome a 3-1 series deficit in an NBA Finals to win.<\/p>\n

While not a final, Tuesday\u2019s stakes are high as Barcelona visits Atl\u00e9tico Madrid down 2-0 in their Champions League<\/a> quarterfinal tie.<\/p>\n

“Lebron is one of the references that is inspiring me for the game,” Yamal said. “I put it as my photo for that reason. I am thinking about how he did it [in 2016] and hoping for the same result for us.”<\/p>\n

Atleti boss Diego Simeone made 10 changes at the weekend during their 2-1 LaLiga defeat to Sevilla<\/a>. The manager said he has a plan for how to neutralize Barcelona and move on to the semifinals.<\/p>\n

\u201dWe\u2019re confident about what we need, and we\u2019re confident about what we\u2019re going to go for,\u201d Simeone said<\/a>. \u201cOur goal is to progress, and we\u2019ll play the match to make that happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

PSG finds itself in a similar situation as Atl\u00e9tico Madrid. Up 2-0 and traveling to Anfield, the Ligue 1 leaders were warned by their manager Luis Enrique to not expect another easy match after last week\u2019s dismantling of the reigning Premier League champions.<\/p>\n

“That’s the difficulty in this game as you need to be really careful,” Enrique said<\/a>. “There are pitfalls. It’s almost a trap. Everyone says ‘you won easily 2-0 and are much better than the opposition. People say that and it might be the case, I don’t know. But things can change so quickly.<\/p>\n

“You need to be ready. You can concede in the first half and the game is still open. What I do think is that we need to prepare this game exactly as previous games. [Liverpool] are going to have to come out and attack, try to score. but I need to ensure my team knows it will encounter difficulties. It won’t be easy.”<\/p>\n

PSG knocked Liverpool out in last season’s Round of 16 after penalties.<\/p>\n
