(Photo by Florencia Tan Jun\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Suarez believes the Barcelona winger has continued to grow with every appearance at the tournament.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking about Spain\u2019s second match against Saudi Arabia, he added,<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLamine is a player who\u2019s going from strength to strength in this World Cup.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHe knows the spotlight is on him, even though there are some absolutely brilliant players standing out at the World Cup, but a lot of eyes are on him. He knows it and is handling the responsibility quite well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Suarez refuses to compare Yamal with Messi<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Lamine\u2019s performances continue to generate comparisons with Lionel Messi, Suarez urged fans to allow the youngster to develop without placing unnecessary expectations on his shoulders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asked whether the teenager reminds him of Barcelona\u2019s greatest-ever player, Suarez responded,<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cComparisons are odious. They\u2019re different players. Yes, they\u2019re both left-footed and have the same quality, but they\u2019re completely different players.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThere are the results, and what Leo continues to achieve at his age. The truth is that every year it seems they say the same thing: that they won\u2019t be able to cope with the intensity, that they won\u2019t be able to withstand the high press, that their high defensive line will come back to haunt them\u2026 And yet they keep doing it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThey\u2019ve been playing with the same philosophy, the same players and the same high standards for some time now. And the team keeps delivering.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat\u2019s more, Flick seems to be a manager who\u2019s very close to his players. He speaks honestly and tells them the truth.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIf a player isn\u2019t going to feature in a match, he explains why. That\u2019s very important for the players.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHe\u2019s an approachable manager who understands what the individual player needs, as well as what the team as a whole needs.
