Six Flags Magic Mountain will take a wrecking ball to a shuttered pizza place on Samurai Summit that was once home to a hilltop steakhouse when the Valencia amusement park first opened in the 1970s.<\/p>\n

Six Flags Magic Mountain has filed a permit<\/a> with Los Angeles County to demolish the Laughing Dragon Pizza Co. at the Valencia amusement park.<\/p>\n

The pizza restaurant near the Ninja and the mothballed Superman: Escape from Krypton<\/a> roller coasters on Samurai Summit at the top of Magic Mountain has been closed for nearly two decades.<\/p>\n

Laughing Dragon briefly served Papa John\u2019s pizza before closing in 2008.<\/p>\n

The restaurant space continued to be used for special events and Fright Feast dining packages during the Halloween season.<\/p>\n

The hilltop restaurant was originally home to the Four Winds steakhouse when Magic Mountain opened in 1971, according to pre-opening brochure<\/a> for the park.<\/p>\n
