Rangers manager Danny Rohl<\/p>\n

Danny Rohl believes fine-tuning his Rangers<\/a> side in Spain this week can give them the edge in the title race.<\/p>\n

The Ibrox gaffer is taking his squad to Marbella for some warm-weather training before the Premiership split. And Rohl<\/a> is convinced that by tweaking small details in the Costa del Sol – it can help Gers become champions.<\/p>\n

They blasted six goals past Falkirk on Sunday to keep the heat on league leaders Hearts<\/a> with five games left. Rangers\u2019 next match is a home clash with Motherwell next Sunday, with Rohl\u2019s men just one point off the top.<\/p>\n

The German insists this bonding break – on and off the pitch – can be vital in their bid to lift the trophy in May. He also revealed it will give him an opportunity to sit down with club owners and discuss plans for NEXT season.<\/p>\n

Rohl said: \u201cIt\u2019s a mix. It will be good to have the players together.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo have a little bit of time for recovery – but also to work on some small details and refresh the mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see a lot of benefits to this week. The players will do some things together also, and this is crucial.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will also have time with the board to speak about topics for the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen we will come back and focus on the split.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked about whether working on those small details could be important in the title race, Rohl said: \u201cYeah, of course.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor us, it will be about pressing. I think it will be about our final-third stuff, good finishing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen, of course, we\u2019ll also have time to prepare something for the split and some other opponents.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we know exactly what is coming.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou see now this group is growing and growing.<\/p>\n

Rangers were rampant against the Bairns in the second half – but only after going 2-0 down early.<\/p>\n

A goal glut after the interval saw Rohl\u2019s side eventually secure an emphatic 6-3 victory, with Youssef Chermiti,<\/a> Bojan Miovski, Tochi Chukwuani and Nico Raskin all getting on the scoresheet.<\/p>\n

But the Ibrox boss will continue to work with his squad this week in Spain with the aim of starting games with more intensity.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cYeah, this is always the goal. I think we\u2019ve had a lot of examples where we did that.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the past, we\u2019ve had good games where we started on the front foot.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut there\u2019s always an opponent and on Sunday, they took their first chance from nothing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen it was a shot from around the box for the second goal.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had some bits but our final step wasn\u2019t there.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the second half, we were more aggressive on the second ball, we were ball winners.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen, against an opponent with nothing to lose, the space became more open and we could use our quality.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rangers have struggled against Motherwell already this term – drawing twice at Fir Park and winning by a solitary goal at Ibrox in December.<\/p>\n

Jens Berthel Askou\u2019s side have impressed this term and Rohl knows Gers won\u2019t get it easy when the Steelmen visit Govan for the first of the post-split fixtures.<\/p>\n

But he\u2019s adamant that if they commit to their pressing game – they can get the result they need.<\/p>\n

Motherwell Manager Jens Berthel Askou<\/p>\n

Rohl said: \u201cWe know what happens. Motherwell come and want to play football, football, football – with a lot of passes.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a demanding game for us and we have to play on the highest level.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut again, we\u2019re growing with belief and you can see it in some moments with our pressing.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we do that, we have the chance to win balls. If you stay half-and-half, you come too late and you\u2019re not connected.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s what we have to improve on this week and we will. We\u2019ve done it so far.<\/p>\n
