Real Madrid and its president Florentino Perez are preparing what has been described as a \u201cscandalous\u201d world record transfer offer for Bayern Munich star Michael Olise according to SPORT<\/a> and El Debate, citing anonymous sources.<\/p>\n Olise is currently lighting up the World Cup in North America. On Tuesday at the MetLife Stadium, he equalled and then surpassed Brazil\u2019s Bruno Guimaraes with a pair of assists that now put him on five in total.<\/p>\n One of the set ups was for Kylian Mbappe<\/a> to lead the Golden Boot rankings on six goals ahead of FC Barcelona idol Lionel Messi.<\/p>\n That connection is something Perez would love to see happen on a regular basis at the Bernabeu. <\/p>\n According to SPORT and El Debate, the President is preparing a \u201cscandalous\u201d offer aimed at convincing the Bavarians to sell their star right winger.<\/p>\n It\u2019d entail paying $216.5 million (\u20ac190 million) up front and then a further $37.5 million (\u20ac33 million) in bonuses if certain objectives are hit.<\/p>\n That\u2019d bring a grand total of $254 million, or \u20ac223 million, which is significant in the soccer market.<\/p>\n That\u2019s because such a sum would break that world transfer record of \u20ac222 million ($253 million) which has stood since 2017.<\/p>\n In summer of said year, Paris Saint-Germain triggered Neymar\u2019s release clause at Bar\u00e7a, and football was never the same again.<\/p>\n Perez wants to make history one more time, boosted by previously winning another mandate in the presidential election at the expense of younger candidate Enrique Riquelme.<\/p>\n Olise is believed to be Real Madrid\u2019s true big money target<\/p>\n When he was on the campaign trail, Perez promised three new signings including now appointed head coach Jose Mourinho<\/a>, plus a $171 million (\u20ac150 million) bid for an unnamed player.<\/p>\n Once Real Madrid members voted him in again, Perez kept his word by launching a tabling said amount for Julian Alvarez, which was knocked back by Atletico Madrid<\/a>. <\/p>\n Many think that Perez wasn\u2019t serious about Alvarez, and that this was merely a means of keeping his word and also sabotaging Bar\u00e7a\u2019s attempts to sign the Argentine.<\/p>\n Alvarez has reportedly agreed to join the Catalans<\/a> for five years, but they are now struggling to raise the funds to deliver him after being quoted<\/a> the \u20ac150 million sum thanks to Madrid.<\/p>\n As for Olise, Bayern Munich has insisted it isn\u2019t a selling club.
