Yeremy Pino is a part of the Spanish World Cup team that has been dealt one of the toughest contests in the Round of 16, as they take on Portugal.<\/p>\n

It is not a game Pino will start, but during his time with the Spanish contingent, he has had a closer look at Spain\u2019s most important player, Lamine Yamal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He even shares a close bond with Yamal and his close friend Nico Williams. In a recent interaction with SPORT<\/a>, Pino offered some interesting insights into the group.<\/p>\n

Asked what Lamine is like on the inside, Pino was full of praise for the 18-year-old\u2019s character and maturity.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a nice, sensible and responsible person. What he transmits on the pitch is exactly the same as who he is off it. He is a world star, and everything good that happens to him will be good for us,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The winger also insisted that Lamine is back to full fitness, pointing to his most recent performance as proof, even if the end product did not quite come off.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes. It showed in the last match. He didn\u2019t score or provide an assist, but he had a great game,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Pino acknowledged that Lamine had appeared slightly frustrated as well, though he doesn\u2019t find it particularly odd.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s normal. When you have a great game and don\u2019t get a goal or an assist, you come off with a slightly strange feeling. And that\u2019s where the group is there to support him in whatever he needs,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

An inseparable trio<\/p>\n

Pino, Lamine and Nico Williams have become almost inseparable within the Spain camp, and the Barcelona winger could not hide his emotions when discussing the dynamic between them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI made a mistake sitting between them, because I get all the teasing. But things are very good, honestly,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n

Asked whether the group had a nickname, Pino laughed off the question. \u201cNo, we have more insults than nicknames,\u201d he said, before admitting the three of them are far from quiet. \u201cYes, a lot,\u201d he replied when asked if they make plenty of noise.<\/p>\n

That competitive edge extends well beyond the football pitch, with the trio regularly going head-to-head on the PlayStation.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes.
