Both will start playing for Bar\u00e7a Atl\u00e8tic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">The Catalans signed Joni Hern\u00e1ndez &#8211; the supposed \u201cnew Pedri\u201d &#8211; for 500k euro. Tenerife retain 25% rights of a future sale. Additional bonuses may be paid based on him hitting certain milestones, which could include players going the other way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">The 18-year-old winger will come alongside 22-year-old Juan Ybarra, a midfielder. Ybarra had been a key piece for Tenerife B and has made his debut with the senior team. Despite being young, he is a bit on the older side for Barcelona\u2019s B team. Bar\u00e7a Atl\u00e8tic sometimes sign slightly older players purely for additional depth and leadership.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Hern\u00e1ndez is left-footed and plays on the right, known for his skill and ability. He has gone from youth teams to the B team to debuting for the senior team extremely quickly. Like Pedri, he was born and raised in the Canary Islands and played for Las Palmas\u2019s youth team at one point. Like Pedri, he\u2019s known as a skilled winger who may have potential as a midfielder.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Hern\u00e1ndez may have shone on Barcelona\u2019s radar when he impressed against them in a youth match.
