Lamine Yamal, one of the youngest players at the tournament at just 18 years old, is a rising football superstar and a stand-out on Team Spain. In the stands supporting his World Cup debut is his new girlfriend, In\u00e9s Garc\u00eda Santos. So, who is the Spanish influencer who has recently been linked to Yamal? Here\u2019s what we know.<\/p>\n

Born in 2005, 20-year-old Garc\u00eda is a beauty and fashion influencer based in Spain. She has over 749,000 followers on Instagram, and 1.1 million followers on TikTok, at the time of writing.<\/p>\n

She posts her outfits, fashion and beauty tips on her social media accounts. Recently, content of her supporting Yamal at his matches has surfaced, too.<\/p>\n

Fans were speculating on how the couple met \u2013 especially since Yamal got out of his last relationship with musician Nicki Nicole only last November, and Garc\u00eda was previously thought to be dating a man named Gonzalo Torres. Some have claimed that the pair met at a store when Garc\u00eda\u2019s card was declined upon buying snacks, when Yamal then swooped in to save her.<\/p>\n

In reality though, the way they met is far simpler. Garc\u00eda took to social media to finally debunk the rumours surrounding the couple\u2019s relationship: they connected on social media.<\/p>\n

Though Garc\u00eda didn\u2019t share when exactly the pair first started dating, she did say, \u201cPeople started seeing us together when we went to Greece,\u201d referring to when she and Yamal were spotted holding hands in Greece in April. \u201cI\u2019ve known Lamine for a lot longer than that.
