Casablanca \u2013 Aurelien Tchouameni has agreed to extend his stay at Real Madrid. According to Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, the French national team vice-captain has reached an agreement with the Spanish club to sign a new contract until June 2031. The deal showcases Real Madrid\u2019s confidence in one of their key midfielders, while also putting an end to the speculation surrounding his future.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Initially under contract until 2028, the former Monaco player\u2019s future has been a regular topic of discussion in recent months. He has also been courted by several major English clubs in recent weeks, notably<\/a> Manchester United, who had reportedly made him a priority.<\/p>\n

But Real Madrid never really opened the door to a departure<\/a>. Despite the team\u2019s disappointing season, Tchouameni remained one of the club\u2019s most consistent players. His return to defensive midfield after a long spell at center-back allowed him to regain his influence and reaffirm his importance within the squad.<\/p>\n

At 25, Tchouameni is now firmly<\/a> established in the Spanish giant\u2019s long-term plans. Having arrived from Monaco in the summer of 2022, he has gradually become a key player for Los Blancos. This contract extension also sends a clear message from Real Madrid: the Frenchman is among the players destined to lead the team in the coming years.<\/p>\n
