TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The woman who lost her daughter in a horrific crash at Country Club and Valencia in Tucson<\/a> last week has given birth to a healthy baby girl, according to the family.<\/p>\n

The woman, who has not been identified by police, was driving her 3-year-old daughter, Anna, on Friday afternoon when two speeding vehicles caused the crash that ripped her Toyota Camry in half.<\/p>\n

The Tucson Police Department said that while Anna was properly restrained in a car seat, she was killed in the crash.<\/p>\n

In a statement released on Tuesday, April 14, Emmanuel Garcia said Anna was his daughter and that it was his pregnant wife who was driving the Camry.<\/p>\n

\u201cI humbly ask for all of your continued prayers for my wife, who is still fighting not only the loss of her precious girl but her own recovery,\u201d Garcia said. \u201cI am thankful and extremely grateful to all of my family, friends, and the Arizona community, as well as everyone else who has shown support, but especially God\u201d<\/p>\n

Garcia went on to say his wife gave birth to a healthy daughter, whom they named Ellianna.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith all of your love and prayers, I am able to write this,\u201d he wrote. \u201cIt is with a heavy and joyful heart that I announce the birth of my baby girl, Ellianna. She is strong, healthy, and beautiful, just like her sisters.\u201d<\/p>\n

Samantha Bracamonte said her sister-in-law was driving the Camry and was nine months pregnant. Bracamonte set up a GoFundMe<\/a> for the family, and it raised more than $93,000 by 9 p.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe outpouring of support from the community has been absolutely unbelievable and a miracle from God,\u201d Garcia said. \u201cI can not express enough gratitude and thankfulness for all of you who have reached out to me and my family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bracamonte also started a petition asking for legislation that would impose stricter penalties on drivers caught street racing. She believes Anna\u2019s death was reckless and avoidable, and said greater consequences could deter street racers from the activity.<\/p>\n

She wants it to be called Anna\u2019s Law, and is hoping to get the attention of lawmakers to increase penalties specifically for deaths in crashes caused by street racing.<\/p>\n

The petition for Anna\u2019s Law<\/a> has been signed by more than 17,000 people as of 9 p.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t allow my daughter\u2019s life to be in vain,\u201d Garcis said. \u201cPlease support the petition so that we can all prevent future families from the devastation of losing a precious life taken too soon. I thank God for all of you in our community who have been affected and are fiercely fighting for change against this preventable tragedy that took my little girl from her loving family that would do anything just to have her back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two suspects, 22-year-old Christian Isaiah Randall and a 16-year-old boy, have been arrested in connection with the crash.<\/p>\n

Authorities said both were going nearly 90 mph before the crash, despite the speed limit being only 45 mph.<\/p>\n

Both are facing charges of second-degree murder, aggravated assault, and endangerment. Randall is being held on a $1 million bond, while the teen was being held on a $500,000 bond.<\/p>\n
