The agreement makes the tech firm based in the Basque Country the main global provider of these services for the Group.<\/p>\n<p>The contract will sustain more than 170 jobs for five years and aligns with Iberdrola&#8217;s strategy to modernize its platforms to support its various businesses efficiently and reliably. The contract covers technical support, evolution, and development of new solutions within Systems environments, both in the cloud and on-premise infrastructures, and incorporates an increased use of automation and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>With this award, Iberdrola strengthens its digital transformation strategy and advances the modernization of its technological infrastructure, which is key to supporting business growth in strategic markets such as the United States and the United Kingdom, in addition to Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Strategic alliance in digitalization, data, and artificial intelligence<\/p>\n<p>Iberdrola already maintained a close partnership with Ayesa as a partner in digitalization and artificial intelligence, developing data, automation, and AI solutions to accelerate the Group&#8217;s digital transformation.<\/p>\n<p>Ayesa Digital is a Basque company with a presence in Europe and Latin America and more than 11,000 professionals. It specializes in the design, integration, and operation of digital platforms for large organizations, combining capabilities in artificial intelligence, data, cybersecurity, application development, cloud, and automation.<\/p>\n<p>Economic impact and the company&#8217;s commitment to the Basque business sector<\/p>\n<p>This award is a new demonstration of Iberdrola&#8217;s commitment to the Basque business ecosystem. Over the last five years, the company has allocated more than 8,400 million euros to purchases from Basque suppliers, an activity that supports more than 30,000 jobs throughout its entire value chain in Euskadi.
