The hotel will offer 101 guestrooms and suites, a rooftop pool and fitness center, event spaces, and a dining program rooted in <a href=\"https:\/\/hoteldesigns.net\/editors-picks\/first-in-to-review-the-newly-renovated-gran-melia-hotel-colon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Sevillian tradition<\/a> led by <a href=\"https:\/\/manolomayo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Grupo Manolo Mayo.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeville is one of those cities that leaves a lasting impression on you. Originally designed by Ram\u00f3n Montserrat Ballest\u00e9 and closely associated with Seville\u2019s Modern Movement, the landmark building is being thoughtfully transformed by design studio Proyecto Singular into a hotel that preserves its architectural character while bringing new energy to the historic centre.<\/p>\n<p>Thompson Seville\u2019s 101 guestrooms and suites combine warm materials, natural textures, artisanal finishes, and subtle references to Andalusian identity, creating spaces that feel both contemporary and deeply connected to their surroundings. Accommodations will range from city-view guestrooms and terrace suites to the Thompson Suite, a spacious retreat with a private terrace and sweeping views of the city. The hotel will feature a dining concept developed with Grupo Manolo Mayo, one of Seville\u2019s most respected restaurant groups, known for its dedication to Andalusian cuisine, seasonal ingredients, and a deep respect for local culinary traditions.<\/p>\n<p>Beloved local restaurant Mayo Sevilla will close its existing location to begin a new chapter inside the hotel under the name Casa Mayo, bringing the spirit of a classic gastronomic house deeply connected to the culinary identity of Seville and Andalusia to Thompson Seville. The interior design, created by architect Pablo Baruc, results in a warm, contemporary space where ingredients and craftsmanship take center stage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoining Thompson Seville marks an exciting new chapter for us,\u201d said Miguel \u00c1ngel \u00c1lvarez, Head of Grupo Manolo Mayo. \u201cCasa Mayo will carry forward the traditions, flavours, and hospitality that have defined our restaurants for years, while introducing them to a new audience in one of the city\u2019s most significant buildings. On the ground floor, the Lobby Bar will serve as an all-day gathering place for guests, travelers, and locals alike, with a menu ranging from morning coffee to midday aperitifs and evening cocktails. On the rooftop, the Rooftop Pool Deck &amp; Bar will feature a pool, lounge area, and a light menu designed for daytime enjoyment and sunset gatherings.<\/p>\n<p>The property will also offer 240 square metres of event and meeting spaces on the ground floor, designed to accommodate a variety of formats \u2013 from corporate meetings and presentations to social celebrations and weddings.
