Pelham walked the next two batters, the latter intentionally, before Evan Taylor resumed the scoring with an RBI single. A walk loaded up the bases for Lutenbacher, who hit into a sacrifice fly to make it a 9-2 ball game ahead of the end of the inning.<\/p>\n
The Jags then turned two and forced a line out in the top of the fifth to set up the finish. Three-straight singles from Bragg, Ryne Paquette and Price loaded up the bases for Greb, who hit the first of two run-scoring sacrifice flies in the inning.<\/p>\n
That put the lead at 11-2, and Taylor capped off the win with an RBI double to trigger the run rule.<\/p>\n
Brody Smith got the win while allowing two runs off four hits and two walks in four innings. Taylor finished 2-for-4 with three RBI, and Bragg was 2-for-2 with a walk, two runs and an RBI.<\/p>\n
Spain Park improved to 25-7 overall and 4-0 in area play. The Jags will finish the regular season with a series against the Helena Huskies starting Tuesday, April 14 at 6 p.m. at Spain Park High School.<\/p>\n
Pelham dropped to 15-10 and 1-3 in area play.
