Ohio State women’s basketball has added 6-foot-1 center Adriana Diaz to its roster.Diaz has played professionally in Spain and will have four years of eligibility.She joins the Buckeyes’ 2026 recruiting class.<\/p>\n

Ohio State women’s basketball<\/a> has announced its first addition of the offseason<\/a>, with 6-foot center Adriana Diaz committing<\/a> to the Buckeyes<\/a> on April 15.<\/p>\n

Diaz is joining Ohio State after playing two seasons professionally for Club\u00a0Estudiantes de Baloncesto in Madrid, Spain. While representing Spain’s U18 team in 2025, the 18-year-old recorded 7.1 points and 4.1 rebounds across seven games.<\/p>\n

Having four years of eligibility despite playing professionally, Diaz brings the Buckeyes’ 2026 recruiting class to two players. Guard Atlee Vanesko committed to Ohio State in July 2025 out of Westtown High School in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

Ohio State has only lost three players from its 2025-26 teams since the offseason officially began, with Chance Gray<\/a> and T’yana Todd finishing their eligibility, and freshman guard Dasha Biriuk entering the transfer portal on April 6.<\/p>\n

The addition of Diaz brings the Buckeyes’ roster to 10 players for the 2026-27 season.<\/p>\n
