Barcelona\u2019s pre-season is currently underway sans the World Cup stars, and several La Masia prospects have unsurprisingly utilised the chance to make their presences felt.<\/p>\n

Over the past few years, the Blaugrana have seen several young academy talents make it big with even the World Cup-winning Spanish contingent having good representation.<\/p>\n

Hansi Flick has again used the pre-season as an audition for the young talents<\/a>, and some players are already catching the management\u2019s eye as strong options for next season.<\/p>\n

Talented trio impress<\/p>\n

As brought to light by Victor Navarro<\/a> in a recent update, three La Masia stars in particular have caught the management\u2019s eye in the pre-season so far.<\/p>\n

The three players are Ibrahim Diarra, Ebrima Tunkara and Alex Gonzalez, and all three have made the most of the minutes and training opportunities handed to them by Hansi Flick.<\/p>\n

Barcelona are extremely pleased with what they are seeing and all three players are likely to have prominence in the team\u2019s friendly games in England. <\/p>\n

Their performances in those outings could potentially seal a role of some capacity in the first team.<\/p>\n

Strong outings in the first friendly<\/p>\n

Diarra is a strong and fast winger who provides a good transitional threat and has a strong ability on the ball. Despite being left-footed, he is comfortable playing on both flanks and is known for his creative output.<\/p>\n

The youngster scored Barcelona\u2019s opening goal in the recent 4-1 friendly win over Europa, and thus made his presence felt as a difference maker<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tunkara, meanwhile, is seen as one of La Masia\u2019s brightest and most talented prospects<\/a> who can play as both an attacking midfielder and a false nine. He too came off the bench to feature in the friendly and scored in the second half.<\/p>\n

The third name, Alex Gonzalez, scored the team\u2019s final goal on the night and is known as a versatile attacker who can drift in from either flank. <\/p>\n

Having joined the club only in April, the winger has already made a big impression<\/a>. His positioning and movement in the box are his biggest strengths, but his physicality has been described as a small limitation.<\/p>\n
