{"id":67518,"date":"2026-08-07T23:11:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-07T23:11:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/67518\/"},"modified":"2026-08-07T23:11:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T23:11:08","slug":"liverpool-agree-shock-loan-for-barcelonas-ronald-araujo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/67518\/","title":{"rendered":"Liverpool agree shock loan for Barcelona&#8217;s Ronald Araujo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u200bLiverpool have sprung a surprising loan for FC Barcelona and Uruguay centre-back Ronald Ara\u00fajo. <\/p>\n<p>\u200bAs exclusively revealed by Fabrizio Romano, the Reds this evening have struck a verbal agreement club-to-club with Barcelona, which has now been approved by Bar\u00e7a director Deco.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bRomano has also revealed that the deal includes a buy option clause, though it is not mandatory, which gives Liverpool a chance to assess triggering it come the end of the 2026\/27 season.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bAra\u00fajo was the Barcelona captain in 2025\/26, but only played 30 minutes or more in two of the Catalan giants&#8217;
