According to some local media outlets in the Valencia region, Villarreal\u2019s Georges Mikautadze has already agreed to join the Catalans after Sporting Director Deco reached out to his representatives.<\/p>\n

The Georgian fits the profile of an attacker Bar\u00e7a seeks following the departure of Robert Lewandowski<\/a> to the Chicago Fire amid Ferran Torres<\/a>\u2019 pending exit.<\/p>\n

Paris Saint-Germain looks set to pay<\/a> \u20ac50 million in fixed money plus a further \u20ac5 million in bonuses, meaning the Blaugrana can recoup the full \u20ac55 million it agreed to pay Manchester City for the scorer of Spain\u2019s World Cup-winning goal.<\/p>\n

Something between \u20ac60 million and \u20ac65 million is believed to be the Yellow Submarine\u2019s asking price, though Alvarez remains the prime target for Deco and Hansi Flick<\/a> while Mikautadze would be more of a second string option.<\/p>\n

We were meant to see big developments in the transfer saga after Alvarez reported for preseason and held showdown talks with Diego Simeone.<\/p>\n
