{"id":70349,"date":"2026-08-14T05:30:38","date_gmt":"2026-08-14T05:30:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/70349\/"},"modified":"2026-08-14T05:30:38","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T05:30:38","slug":"al-hilal-prepare-new-offer-for-e40-million-rated-barcelona-midfielder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/70349\/","title":{"rendered":"Al-Hilal prepare new offer for \u20ac40 million-rated Barcelona midfielder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FC Barcelona starlet Marc Casado\u2019s future remains unresolved, but a move to Saudi Arabia is becoming increasingly likely. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Hilal have shown a strong interest in the Barcelona midfielder and have not given up on their pursuit of the La Masia graduate.<\/p>\n<p>New offer incoming<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As such, according to reports in Saudi Arabia, as relayed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sport.es\/es\/noticias\/barca\/hilal-prepara-nueva-oferta-casado-133335302\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">SPORT<\/a>, Al-Hilal are now preparing another attempt to sign him before the transfer window closes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Riyadh club have decided to step up their efforts after learning that Casado has yet to make a definitive decision about his next destination. The midfielder has received several proposals and is still weighing his options.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Hilal have <a href=\"https:\/\/barcauniversal.com\/barcelona-and-al-hilal-remain-apart-on-valuation-for-e40-million-rated-la-masia-product\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">already made approaches worth around \u20ac30 million<\/a> and are now preparing an improved offer in an attempt to convince both the player and Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/birmingham-city-v-fc-barcelona-pre-season-friendly-5-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Marc Casado of FC Barcelona\" class=\"wp-image-208174\"  \/>Not in Hansi Flick\u2019s plans. Al-Ahli have also shown interest in the Barcelona academy product and remain attentive to developments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having two major Saudi clubs competing for the midfielder could work in Bar\u00e7a\u2019s favour. The Catalan giants believe the competition could push the final transfer fee closer to its target.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Barcelona\u2019s position is straightforward: \u20ac40 million. The Blaugrana do not intend to facilitate Casado\u2019s departure for less and hope one of the interested parties will eventually meet that valuation.<\/p>\n<p>Casado unhappy after training exile<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While negotiations continue, Casado\u2019s sporting situation has become increasingly complicated. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The midfielder has been removed from the first-team training group, alongside several other players whose futures are also uncertain. (Photo by Juan Manuel Serrano Arce\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/barcauniversal.com\/barcelona-outcasts-angry-at-club-over-being-made-to-train-separately-from-group-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The decision has caused frustration for the academy graduate<\/a>, who expected to continue training normally while his future was being resolved.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Casado understands that his situation is linked to the transfer negotiations, but he has not hidden his disappointment at being separated from the squad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Barcelona, the transfer is important for more than simply resolving Casado\u2019s future. A deal worth around \u20ac40 million would provide significant income and additional financial breathing room.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With Al-Hilal preparing another bid and Al-Ahli also monitoring the situation, the coming days could be decisive.
