Barcelona<\/a> have confirmed that an agreement has been reached with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of Spain star Ferran Torres.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Shark moves in a transfer<\/a> worth a reported \u20ac50 million and has signed a contract with Luis Enrique’s side until 2031. He will wear the No.9 shirt at Parc des Princes.<\/p>\n

Here’s Barcelona’s official statement:<\/p>\n

“FC\u00a0Barcelona\u00a0and\u00a0Paris Saint-Germain<\/a>\u00a0have reached an agreement for the transfer of\u00a0Ferran Torres<\/a>\u00a0to the French club.<\/p>\n

“FC Barcelona<\/a> would like to express its gratitude to Ferran Torres for his dedication throughout the four and a half seasons in which he has defended the Bar\u00e7a shirt and wishes him the best of luck in this new stage of his professional career.”<\/p>\n

Torres has also uttered his first words since becoming a PSG player.<\/p>\n

“I’m delighted to be beginning a new adventure at such an ambitious club as Paris Saint-Germain,” he added.<\/p>\n

“I’d like to thank President Nasser Al-Khela\u00effi, Luis Campos and coach Luis Enrique for giving me the opportunity to join the team, which I hope to help win as many trophies as possible.”<\/p>\n
