\t\t\t\tWe\u2019re just a few days away from the grand finish of the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed<\/a>, where some of the greatest automotive creations from genius minds will gather for an absolute spectacle, but folks are already thinking ahead toward the next conquest.\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

The same is valid for the members of the imaginative guild of digital car content creators dwelling across the parallel universes of vehicular CGI. Take, for example, this new unofficial, hypothetical design project crafted by Ali, the virtual artist better known as ‘luddite_revival<\/a>‘ on social media, who has come up with an interesting way to honor the Cadillac Seville’s legacy.<\/p>\n

The Cadillac Seville (1976-2004) is a mid-size luxury car nameplate created by the General Motors automaker from America as a premium option for customers not looking for a full-size car. It was initially a rear-wheel drive car, but after 1979 it switched to a longitudinal and then a transverse front-wheel drive setup.<\/p>\n

The model with a Spanish name \u2013 Seville is the moniker of both a Spanish province and the region\u2019s capital, lived a long and fruitful life across five generations, and the most important characteristic is that all iterations were four-door sedans, answering to the threat of the rising popularity of luxury European imports from Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz.<\/p>\n

Curiously, the original Cadillac Seville<\/a>, produced for model years 1976 through 1979, was manufactured not just in Detroit, Michigan, at home in the United States, but also in Iran by Pars Khodro, an Iranian automobile manufacturer. As such, it\u2019s no wonder the pixel master has nicknamed his revival project Cadillac Seville Iran, in honor of the quick stint in one of America\u2019s biggest current enemies.<\/p>\n

It also honors the Cadillac Seville\u2019s legacy as a proper luxury car but isn\u2019t afraid to adopt a completely new styling ethos or switch from the four-door sedan body style to a sleeker two-door fastback coupe lifestyle. The new design abandons the well-known Cadillac \u2018cuts\u2019 that resemble the facets of diamonds in favor of a swooping style that separates the car into two sides via a central crease.<\/p>\n

The V-shaped Cadillac grille remains in place, only lower and integrated with the front bumper, while the LED headlights are now horizontal rather than vertical as seen on most current models, including ICE and EVs. The profile is of a classic grand tourer with a long hood and a sweeping rear, and the back side incorporates a V-shaped rear window and a single LED taillight strip protruding from the massive rear bumper.<\/p>\n

There are no renderings of the interior, but we can see it\u2019s clad in leather, and we also noticed that, although the grille seems closed, there are dual exhaust tailpipe housings on each side of the bumper. As such, maybe this Cadillac Seville \u2013 which is easy to recognize thanks to the massive rear letters \u2013 is ICE-powered rather than another (potentially soulless) EV.<\/p>\n
