Barcelona have multiple reasons to believe they can sign Goncalo Inacio from the clutches of AC Milan this summer.

For one, the Catalans are okay with meeting Inacio’s €60 million release clause. On top of that, Deco has good connections in Portugal and was in Lisbon last week.

Although Inacio may not have been a subject of discussion, Barcelona have the resources to pull off a deal for the Portuguese international.

However, a lot may depend on Barcelona’s pursuit of a new striker. Only after the Blaugrana sign a new forward, the club can make a move for a new centre-back.

And that is where Inacio could prove to be a handy option given his status as a left-footed ball-playing centre-back, making him an ideal defensive partner for Pau Cubarsi in the new season.

With the transfer window coming to a close in early September, Barcelona have their task cut out in…

[5
180,92,222,28599,2621
post-74480","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-barcelona","tag-ac-milan","tag-barcelona","tag-barcelona-news","tag-goncalo-inacio","tag-sporting-cp
["GET
