Instead, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hosteltur.com\/178170_la-rumana-flyyo-operara-los-vuelos-de-fly2galicia-en-regimen-de-wet-lease.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hosteltur<\/a>, Romanian company FLYYO will operate the flights under a wet-lease agreement. Aviation &amp; Mobility Services Group, which markets the services under the Fly2Galicia brand, will sell the tickets and develop the planned routes within Galicia.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/AdobeStock_589366283-Large-1024x684.jpeg\" alt=\"Woman at the airport window and flight departure, Airport Terminal: Happy Traveling Looks Around, Wondering on Vacation.\" class=\"wp-image-36555\"  \/>Photo: Ilja | stock.adobe.com<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The destinations currently offered on the airline\u2019s website include Alicante, Granada and Zaragoza in Spain, Brussels in Belgium, Milan and Venice in Italy, Munich in Germany and Prague in the Czech Republic. In a move that will see the Spanish carrier go head-to-head with Wizz Air, the Hungarian carrier is also expected to open a permanent base at the airport in February 2027. Having a base there will enable Wizz Air to deliver additional connectivity to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Zaragoza.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1057\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Screenshot-2026-01-22-075919.jpg\" alt=\"Wizz Air A321neo\" class=\"wp-image-35349\"  \/>Photo: Wizz Air<\/p>\n<p>Low-cost boost for Santiago\u2019s Rosalia de Castro Airport<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Operated by the Spanish airport authority <a href=\"https:\/\/aerospaceglobalnews.com\/tag\/aena\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"3450\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aena,<\/a> Santiago-Rosalia de Castro Airport is located about 10km northeast of Santiago de Compostela and serves a large catchment area across Galicia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2025, the airport handled just over 3 million passengers, including around 592,000 international passengers. It recorded around 25,000 aircraft movements. In 2011, the airport was significantly expanded with a new terminal, car park, aircraft apron and control tower. Carriers serving the airport include <a href=\"https:\/\/aerospaceglobalnews.com\/tag\/vueling\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"3779\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Vueling<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/aerospaceglobalnews.com\/tag\/iberia\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"1968\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Iberia<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/aerospaceglobalnews.com\/tag\/easyjet\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"308\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">easyJet<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/aerospaceglobalnews.com\/tag\/klm\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"285\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> KLM,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/aerospaceglobalnews.com\/tag\/lufthansa\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"957\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lufthansa<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/aerospaceglobalnews.com\/tag\/aer-lingus\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"2862\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aer Lingus<\/a>.
