BBVA has also been appointed Facility Agent.<\/p>\n<p>Strengthening Meli\u00e1\u2019s financial profile and growth strategy<\/p>\n<p>The transaction has been positively received by the market, underpinned by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meliahotelsinternational.com\/en\/our-company\/about-us\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Meli\u00e1\u2019s<\/a> strong financial fundamentals and proven creditworthiness. The financing will enable the hotel group to optimise its capital structure while providing greater comfort for its ambitious global growth and leadership strategy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe view this transaction very positively due to Meli\u00e1 Group\u2019s solid financial position, its leadership, and the clarity of its growth strategy. For BBVA, it means further consolidating a long-term relationship based on trust and support for its key strategic objectives\u201d, says Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Vizmanos, Head of CIB Spain at BBVA.<\/p>\n<p>The facility has initially been structured as a conventional syndicated loan.
