Here are the player ratings from the match.

Thibaut Courtois — 7: No complaints. Courtois had almost nothing to do throughout the game, making just one save as Real Madrid controlled proceedings.

Trent Alexander-Arnold — 8.5: Produced some outrageous long-range passing and delivered a perfect assist for Kylian Mbappé. He likely would have finished with more than one assist had Real Madrid had a Carlos Espí-type target attacking the box. Also contributed defensively, leading the team with four interceptions.

Antonio Rüdiger — 7.5: Filled in seamlessly for Ibrahima Konaté and was dominant in the air. A comfortable and assured performance at the back.

Dean Huijsen — 7.5: Another strong showing. As José Mourinho noted, Huijsen had one poor pass, but outside of that mistake he was virtually foot-perfect. Defended well in space and provided important coverage behind Marc Cucurella.

Marc Cucurella — 7.5: The Bernabéu chanted his name in the second half, an indication of how quickly he has won over the crowd. Defensively excellent, locking down David Larrubia on the wing and giving Malaga very little joy down his side.

Fede Valverde — 7: Some of his passing could have been cleaner, but Valverde was once again highly effective in his box-to-box role. Defended well, covered plenty of ground, and consistently drove the team forward with his ball-carrying.

Eduardo Camavinga — 7.5: An enigma of a performance. Camavinga was excellent for the majority of the game but mixed in three inexplicable lapses that could have been costly on another night. Outside of those moments, his passing was crisp, his ball-carrying was strong, and he produced several excellent sliding tackles.

Brahim Díaz — 7: Quieter than Madrid’s other attackers but still put in a valuable shift. Worked extremely hard to help Alexander-Arnold defend the right flank and showed some impressive dribbling when he had opportunities to attack.

Jude Bellingham — 9: Outstanding. Bellingham opened the scoring with a golazo before forcing the own goal that made it 2-0. He won possession in midfield, carried a constant threat around the box, and repeatedly hurt Malaga with devastating runs both on and off the ball.

Vinícius Jr. — 8: Made consistently good decisions in the final third and looked dangerous whenever he had space to attack. Capped his performance with a brilliant assist for Arda Güler late in the game.

Kylian Mbappé — 9: Electric. Mbappé terrorized Malaga with his explosiveness and dribbling before putting away a beautiful goal to make it 3-0. Another performance in which the opposition simply struggled to contain him once he accelerated.

Yan Diomande — 7: Much like his previous cameo off the bench, Diomande produced several very promising dribbling sequences. He plays with real verticality and immediately looks to attack defenders when he receives the ball.

Bernardo Silva — 6.5: Brought composure to midfield after coming on and helped Madrid control possession with some neat one-touch passing.

Arda Güler — 7.5: Made an enormous impact despite being on the field for only a few minutes. Produced an incredible run almost immediately after coming on and then scored Madrid’s fourth goal to cap the victory.

Real Madrid cruised to a 4-0 victory over Malaga at the Santiago Bernabéu, with Jude Bellingham and Kylian…

[4
82,621,3926
post-78055","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-madrid","tag-madrid","tag-real-madrid-cf-la-liga","tag-real-madrid-cf-players
["GET
