Neither his father, his seven-year-old brother or a family friend who were all in the car noticed. <\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\" style=\"\">CCTV footage from the service station captured the moment the vehicle pulled away, leaving the young boy standing alone on the forecourt.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"v-a-lnk\" href=\"http:\/\/www.surinenglish.com\/spain\/lanzarote-airport-investigation-after-wheelchair-user-forgotten-20260605122321-nt.html#vtm_modulosEngag=noticiasrelacionadas-cmp-uno:surinenglish:noticia:1\" data-voc-vtm-id=\"in-text-traffic\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/wheelchair-disability-paraplegic-health-medical-2c1145.jpg\" class=\"v-a-img\" width=\"258\" height=\"180\" alt=\"Lanzarote airport investigation after wheelchair user forgotten and misses flight to Bristol\"\/><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\" style=\"\">Staff alerted the authorities and officers from the Guardia Civil in C\u00e1ceres quickly stepped in to look after the youngster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v-d-p\" style=\"\">After piecing together the family&#8217;s route via the 062 control centre, officers established that the car was heading north towards Salamanca.
