Endrick isn\u2019t just a midsummer dream for AC Milan but a concrete target they\u2019re trying to land, and they will bide their time.<\/p>\n

Calciomercato.com<\/a> write that it all began in mid-July when Gerry Cardinale \u2013 through his friend Jorge Mendes \u2013 began contacting Real Madrid regarding potential names of interest. Numerous players were discussed, from Valdepenas (now at Fiorentina) and Pitarch to Brahim Diaz.<\/p>\n

The RedBird Capital owner began direct discussions with Florentino Perez and came forward with a focus on Ruben Amorim\u2019s true target: the Brazilian talent Endrick<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Willing to wait<\/p>\n

Milan\u2019s interest in Endrick stems from an observation: Real Madrid have a strong attack. With the new signing Diomande joining Vinicius, Bellingham, Brahim Diaz, Mbappe, and Espi, there are plenty of options for Jose Mourinho.<\/p>\n

This could have a knock-on effect on Endrick, as the former Lyon player risks getting very little playing time, but this scenario doesn\u2019t seem to worry either the 20-year-old or Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

The message that reached Milan and other contenders was this: \u2018Endrick isn\u2019t leaving, at least until the next transfer window\u2019. The Brazilian wants to play in the Champions League with Real Madrid, confident he can carve out a significant role for himself.<\/p>\n

Cardinale has accepted Real Madrid\u2019s and the player\u2019s position, reiterating that he is always ready to initiate negotiations<\/a> should there be any signs of openness. This could be in the final hours of the summer window or, in the worst-case scenario, postponing the discussion until January.<\/p>\n

Milan want Endrick because they consider him perfect for their project and capable of offering a different solution. If Madrid were to open the door, then the Rossoneri would be ready to sign Endrick.<\/p>\n
