Jonathan David<\/a> has joined Atl\u00e9tico Madrid<\/a> from Juventus<\/a>. Transfermarkt understands that the 26-year-old Canadian men\u2019s national team<\/a> striker initially joins Atl\u00e9tico Madrid on loan with an option to buy worth \u20ac25 million. That option is \u20ac5m below David’s current market value of \u20ac30m. Juventus will also cover 50% of David\u2019s salary while the Canadian is on loan in Spain.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The loan agreement ends, for now, a brief chapter for David in Italy. The striker joined the Serie A giants just last summer on a free transfer from Lille. David signed for Lille in 2020 in a deal worth \u20ac27m, which still makes him the most expensive Canadian in history.
