The Valencia Sail Grand Prix is the tenth event of the 2026 Season and will see SailGP\u2019s fleet of high-speed F50 catamarans race on the waters off one of the world\u2019s most renowned sailing cities for the first time, marking another milestone in the Championship\u2019s continued global growth.\u00a0<\/p>\n
For Emirates GBR, the event represents another important opportunity in the season-long battle\u00a0to qualify for the end of season winner takes all Grand Final, with Driver Dylan Fletcher and the British crew looking to\u00a0hit form and\u00a0deliver a strong performance on Spanish waters.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
Valencia has a rich history in international sailing, having hosted the 32nd and 33rd America\u2019s Cups, but this weekend will be the first time the city has experienced SailGP\u2019s short-format, high-speed fleet racing.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve\u00a0not had a great run of it recently, but\u00a0we\u2019ve\u00a0been in this position before. Last year we managed to turn it around and come through strongly.\u00a0We know in SailGP\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0all about small margins,\u00a0there\u2019s\u00a0still plenty to play for and\u00a0we\u2019re\u00a0confident we can turn things around.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
