Ahead of the Valencia game, reports suggested that Lamine Yamal missed a team training session as he trained individually. The winger took a knock, according to Barcelona manager Hansi Flick.<\/p>\n
Flick said, \u201cLamine Yamal took a knock and was in pain. It was better for him to train separately. After training, he said everything was fine. He will travel with us, and we\u2019ll see tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n
Yamal was included in the squad and will start. Rodri will also start his first game as a Barcelona player. Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus is included in the squad for the first time since joining Barcelona this summer and could make his debut against Valencia.<\/p>\n
Valencia are without 8 first-team players: Guido Rodr\u00edguez, Sadiq Umar, Justin De Haas y Jos\u00e9 Copete, Diego L\u00f3pez, Sergi Can\u00f3s, Luis Rioja, and Dimitri Foulquier. <\/p>\n
However, Valencia will have their new signing Harvey Elliott available. The English midfielder joined Valencia on loan from Liverpool near deadline day.<\/p>\n
